About Us
Founded in June 2022, the Speak Up for Help Foundation (SU4H Foundation) is one of the pioneering non-governmental organizations dedicated to eradicating mental health challenges and fostering holistic well-being across Nigeria. Our journey began with a resolute mission to drive positive change, create awareness, and provide actionable solutions to combat the silent crisis that plagues our society.

Relatedly, we are committed to the well-being of individuals and the society as a whole through proper therapy and necessary help thus empowering individuals in all spheres of life to enable them live to their full potentials
Our Mission
SU4H is an organization established to alienate mental health crises such as (depression, anxiety-disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicidal thoughts) by combating mental health triggers through awareness, advocacy, psycho-social support, intervention and counseling for groups and individuals in the society.
Expanding Horizons
From our humble origins in Lagos, we have expanded our footprint to encompass Ekiti, Osun, Niger, Benue, ondo, and Imo states.
Program Interventions
Humanitarian Day
SU4HF’s dedication to creating a tangible impact is evidenced by our humanitarian initiatives. Notably, our event on December 3rd, 2022, in Aiyetoro community Makoko Lagos Island grin on 108 impoverished households with food support.. In furtherance, operation Feed the Less Privileged which catered for 50 people illuminated the path to mental well-being , uniting voices in solidarity by improver The “Akara Concept” in Osun state, held in July 2023, exemplified our commitment to creative engagement, showcasing innovative approaches to mental health awareness).
Empowerment Program
SU4FH extends its partnership with Ekiti State Government to organize a 3 -days vocational training program for adolescent girls with 30 participants in attendance.
Children’s Day Celebration
SUP4HF, recognizes that exploring diverse social media platforms will be a profitable tool for creating more awareness of mental health issues, and therefore embarked on a bimonthly program tagged ’My story and My Mental Health ‘, an Instagram live session anchored by our media team and mental health professionals. Since its inception in December 2022 up till date, our social media has experienced a significant increase in followership from 100 to over 11,000 an indication that our interventions are yielding meaningful outcomes.

Collaborations
Our journey transcends borders, encompassing advocacy and collaboration to shape a brighter future. We have embarked on significant courtesy visits to royalties in Makoko, Lagos, and Ekiti state, forging partnerships that amplify our mission. As advocates of change, we have aligned forces with City FM 101.5, actively participating in their mental health radio show, a platform to amplify our message and dispel stigma.

Our commitment extends beyond awareness to the very heart of change. SU4H Foundation adopts a comprehensive approach that tackles the root causes of mental health challenges. By addressing education, poverty, relationships, and workplace dynamics, we orchestrate a symphony of solutions that resonates with the diverse fabric of Nigerian society.
